"We never know the love of the parent until we become parents ourselves." I always knew my mother loved me. She was a single mother and struggled everyday to raise my brother and I... but not until Tyler was born did I know and understand the gut wrenching unconditional love that you have for your child. A love that is so strong that it hurts. A love that rips your heart to pieces just with the thought of being separated from them. I have never experienced a love so pure and so effortless until Tyler blessed my life.


There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about the day he was first handed to me, the day he first smiled at me with those dimples, and the first time he said "Mama." I had an amazing life before him filled with incredible moments and memories... but after his birth it seemed as if I was born into a whole new life... a life that I couldn't imagine not living. I love you Tyler... I thank God everyday for you and...
